What is the Quincy Volunteer Fire Department Inc.?
The QVFD firefighters began in 1878 to help raise funds for the Quincy Volunteer Department, keeping us supplied with critical items such as hydration supplies, communication equipment, safety, and personal protective equipment, etc.. The membership holds a 501(c)3 non-profit status and we strongly encourage anyone interested in joining to reach out! We host various fundraisers throughout the year, including a Pancake Breakfast, Battle of the Battalions Golf Tournament, Equipment Raffle, “Fill the Boot” events.

Website Accessibility Policy
Quincy Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Quincy Fire Protection District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
