Part-Time Administrative Assistant Position

Company Overview:
Quincy Fire Protection District is seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work in a flexible, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
• Handle phone calls, and emails, and manage scheduling.
• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
• Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and other documentation.
• Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting system (Financials reports)
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
